Victor Canon EOS 6D Mark II Full Frame Lenses Irix 11mm f/4.0: Very impressive lens
5 out of 5 stars
Last few years I was looking for ultra-wide lens to help me in real estate photography. Sometimes the rooms to be shot were so small so I could'n use my 15-30/2.8 and I had to proceed with 16mm fish-eye. And since I've got this Irix 11/4 and made few test shots, I have no regrets. It's perfect for any tiny place and doesn't bend the walls. The lens is sharp at 4. Being swithed to f11, it doesn't need to be focused at all. What really surprised me was an ability to take street photos. Just for fun I brought this lens to a local city event and use it for candid photography. To get a good picture I had to be VERY close to the subject. And what I did find that the people don't get scary when photographer stays within 1 meter. They think the camera was pointed somewhere out. And, what is more important, you don't need to lose time for viewfinder's look and focusing, just point and shoot.

4x2WagonFamily Canon EOS 6D Mark II Full Frame Lenses Irix 45mm f/1.4 Dragonfly for Canon EF: Amazing quality, but heavy lens.

No auto focus available. Very heavy. Amazing picture and video quality.
Mike Canon EOS 6D Mark II Full Frame Lenses Irix 15mm f/2.4: Great Lens!
5 out of 5 stars
Bought this to do wide night astro images... Haven't had a chance to use it for that yet, but in general shooting the quality is great. It can even make for some fun creative shots... I have been shooting with it on a 5DmkIII... I have not had issues with the flairs that some report. I am finding you have to have light hit at just the right angle to cause a flair and a slight recompose is all it takes to remove...

5 out of 5 stars
i was looking for a budget wide angle lens with little to no distortion and found this gem. there is no distortion, it is sharp, handles well, and is everything that im looking for. i highly recommend it over the Samyang or any other alternative manual focus lens.

Will F. Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 150mm f/2.8 Dragonfly Macro 1:1: Sharp, Rock-solid, Beautiful
5 out of 5 stars
I highly recommend this lens for anyone interested in macro photography. It's sharp, easy to use, and very well constructed -- not to mention beautiful. It *can* also be used for portraits, but bear in mind it's manual-focus-only with a very narrow depth of field. A bit heavy for handheld shots, but no more so than other lenses in its class.
John Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 15mm f/2.4: Sharp and Solid Build
5 out of 5 stars
I LOVE the way this lens feels! Solid build and smooth focus. Upgraded to the Irix 15mm from a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 and couldn't be happier. The focus has a small stop or indent at infinity which I have found very accurate for astrophotography. No more hunting for infinity with my old Rokinon 14mm! My new Irix Blackstone arrived packaged in a metal box inside of the cardboard box AND included a nice protective travel case.

Jose Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 11mm f/4.0: Wide Angle Wonder
5 out of 5 stars
I'm LOVING this lens. The only thing is I have to get used to Manual Focus since I've been spoiled by Auto Focus for so many years (and my eyesight ain't so young anymore) but that's a minor me thing...this lens delivers spectacular wide angle shots at an amazing price.

sam the paddler Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 15mm f/2.4: Surprising Image Quality, Great Design
5 out of 5 stars
I got this lens to replace the original Samyang 14mm for five reasons: 1. The severe moustache curvalinear distortion of the Samyang was a problem, requiring special software to correct. The Irix distortion is moderate and easily corrected via photoshop RAW (9.1) 2. The Manual stop down of the Samyang w/0 preset stops was also awkward and difficult due to dark viewfinder image when stopped down. The Irix only stops down for the exposure meaning you always focus wide open. 3. The image quality is very good even at the corners, comparable to much more expensive lenses. 4. The removable lens hood with port AND being able to use 95mm filters 5. All this for $400.00 (OK more after Canadian currency exchange) makes this lens an exceptionally good deal!

Spectre180 Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 15mm f/2.4: Awesome glass
5 out of 5 stars
First thing to surprise me was the packaging, an Irix branded cardboard box, containing a metal box in which the lens, some foam inserts and a lens case were enclosed. No handle on the lens case but nice nonetheless. Quality of the lens is great, first thing I checked was focus with it locked at infinity - no issues there, I thought I may have to adjust it after reading other reviews but this lens was spot on. Heading out camping to some remote lakes in a few weeks where I will really put this lens to the test, but first impressions are favourable.

Marc Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 11mm f/4.0: Great wide angle
5 out of 5 stars
For about a test I've been reading reviews and researching this lens, it's almost the size of my Nikon 14-24, the from element is very bulky and overall the lens is well made. I've been playing around with the lens for a few weeks now, overall well made. , and extremely pleased with it. Manual focus at F4 and 11mm is surprising easy, the DoF is not a problem at all. Well packaged and nice hard case supplied I would definitely buy the lens again, I brought the blackstone version with metal casing.

Chris Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 11mm f/4.0: Tremendous build and optical quality
5 out of 5 stars
I bought the blackstone and the nice integration with the Pentax k1mk2 and SR makes it a winning combination. Optical quality is tremendous for this cost of lens, the way it handles is really really nice. Focus ring is not to stiff or to loose, just right. Focus lock is a nice feature and the minimum focus distance is 1 foot. Pretty amazing for tight perspectives in the industrial work I do

Richard Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 45mm f/1.4 Dragonfly: Great prime lens

Very sharp and focus lens. I use it on my Canon T4i and my newer 80D. It works nicely with both. Have a new puppy so need a fast lens which works in low light.
Lin Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 150mm f/2.8 Dragonfly Macro 1:1: Crisp macro images!
5 out of 5 stars
This lens is all I anticipated. Images are sharp and I love using it for focus stacking. Before buying I had borrowed a Nikon 105mm micro/macro, a Laowa 90mm macro, and this same model Irix. The borrowed Irix produced visibly crisper images, and this one that I just purchased does the same - excellent quality images.

Jeffrey G. Canon EOS 6D Mark II Lenses Irix 11mm f/4.0: Love for long exposure and astrophotography!
5 out of 5 stars
I already own the 15mm Firefly and couldn't wait to add the 11mm Firefly to my kit. I loved it so far for long exposure and astrophotography. I use it on my 80D, so it's focal lengthis a bit more that the 11mm, but it still works great for what I use it for.

FAQ Photo Lenses for Canon EOS 6D Mark II

Is Canon 6D Mark II worth it?

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II is a full-frame DSLR camera. It's well-built, comfortable to use, has an intuitive menu system, and offers an excellent overall battery life. It also delivers excellent image quality, with little apparent noise or graininess present in images and an okay dynamic range.

Does Canon 6D Mark II shoot in 4K?

It's only 26.2MP and it doesn't shoot 4K, but the Canon EOS 6D Mark II is still a damned good camera – and one that holds its own, even in 2022, despite the mirrorless revolution that has taken place.

What is the Nikon equivalent to Canon 6D Mark II?

The Nikon Z 6 is basically a mirrorless (and less expensive) D780, while the Canon EOS RP is even cheaper than the 6D Mark II and built around the same sensor.

Which is better Canon 6D or 6D Mark II?

The 6D Mark II has seen a bump up in native sensitivity, now topping out at ISO 40,000, compared with ISO 25600 of the original 6D. This should mean that in low light, high sensitivity shots display less noise and an overall better quality.
