Our Irix Edge SR UV & Protector filters makes sure your lens is perfectly protected at all times. This filter is useful when we need to give our lens extra protection while hiking, travelling, or when shooting sports such as the World Rally Car Championship (WRC), cross-country competitions, or, let's be honest, a little extra protection for every day use against dust, water, accidental scratches never does any harm.
We dispatch our products from our warehouse in Colorado. For domestic US shipments, we offer two shipping methods: Standard (FedEx Ground), which is FREE, and Express (FedEx 2Day). For worldwide shipments, we also provide Express and Standard options, utilizing FedEx or UPS depending on the destination. Please note that we always require a signature upon delivery. Irix Edge UV & Protector SR Filter
The Irix UV filter eliminates the blue cast caused by ultraviolet light and provides protection for the front lens element in extreme conditions.
This ultra-slim UV filter offers extraordinary light transmission, thanks to the high-quality optical glass and multi-layer anti-reflective coating. The antireflection coating also helps keep your images clear and colors natural. An additional waterproof coating helps shed water droplets in rainy weather or mist. The aesthetic design harmonizes with all Irix products.
Reduction of Ultra Violet Light
Another feature of the UV filter is the reduction of Ultra Violet Light and so achieving more accurate and natural colours. This is especially important in analogue photography because the photosensitive material is extremely sensitive to UV rays.
Super Resistant (SR) optical glass
This technology makes the filter extremely resistant to damage – toughened optical glass covered with special nano-coating makes the filter survive virtually anything.
