The Irix Edge Hard Gradual SR Filter is a tinted filter with a narrow transition between full transparency and maximum density. This type of filter works well for images where the horizon is flat and regular such as the sea or wide-open plains. In this situation, the upper part of the image – the sky – is usually brighter than the rest of the frame, and this part should be covered with a dark part of the filter.

Irix Edge filters are characterized by the highest precision and optical quality to be able to meet the image quality generated by Irix lenses. Both surfaces of the glass filter are covered by the multilayer anti-reflection and water/oil-proof coating providing high light transmission and natural colours.
All Irix Edge 100mm filters come with a functional Filter Case made from rigid foam mounted on a silicone frame, and fitted with a magnetic lock, so you can be sure that your filter is secure during transport or storage.
All Irix Edge square filters are compatible with our Irix Edge Filter holders. The Irix Edge IFH-100-PRO filter holder comes with a built-in (removable) CPL filter and will let you use two square filters together. The holder comes with an adjustable knob to regulate the CPL.
The filter holder is compatible with square filters of 2mm and 1.1mm thickness.
The Irix Edge Traveller Filter Case is compatible with all 100mm square filters, as well as with the Irix Edge IFH-100 filter holder.
This innovative case allows you to safely store the Irix Edge IFH-100 holder and two filters, plus one additional filter in a dedicated pocket
