The Irix Edge Reverse Gradual ND is a special purpose filter to help photographers when they are shooting a sunrise or sunset.
When the sun is right above of the horizon, you get a high contrast area right near the horizon line and you will need to reduce the amount of light that reaches the sensor of the camera to counteract the overexposed part of a scene. By using the filter, will get a properly exposed picture with natural and clean colors without using an HDR effect.
