All Irix film lenses have very similar dimensions and weight. This allows for quick and easy lens swapping without the need to change the rest of your setup. Our lenses are equipped with a Magnetic Mounting System (MMS), which allows you to connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge line up.

All Irix Cine lenses (excluding the Irix 11mm T4.3) feature a Magnetic Mount System (MMS), compatible with Irix Edge MMS, Vari ND filters, and Irix MMS Lens Hood. The unique threadless design of Irix Edge magnetic filters ensures cleanliness and clarity, eliminating concerns about dirty or dusty filter threads.
Stackable MMS filters offer flexible combinations and save storage space. The MMS Lens Hood effectively prevents unwanted light, reducing ghosting and flares.
Irix Edge MMS filters are constructed with hardened optical glass (SR) for exceptional durability and feature a multi-layer, anti-reflective coating with a special nano-coating for easy cleaning.

All Irix lenses share a similar weight, facilitating effortless swapping on gimbals. Moreover, focus gears seamlessly integrate with wireless follow focus systems. With a weight of approximately 1kg, they serve as ideal counterweights for most mirrorless cameras, simplifying the balancing process. We've personally tested them on various gimbals from leading brands like Zhiyun and DJI, achieving excellent performance.
