The Irix 45mm f/1.4 GFX is a professional lens designed for FujiFilm GFX cameras.
It has a high-quality construction, based on the knowledge the Irix Lens engineers gained during the design and production of our other full-frame lenses. The equivalent focal length of 45mm for the FujiFilm GFX sensor is ~ 36mm, which, combined with the very high resolution of the lens, makes it possible to capture every type of subject.
The combination of the fast aperture with this focal length makes the lens extremely practical.

The 45mm focal length will let you capture the world more creatively than with a standard 35mm or 50mm lens. At the same time, the fast f/1.4 aperture will allow you to effectively separate the subject from the background. The Irix 45mm f/1.4 lens was designed to give a very detailed image at just f/1.4, becoming even sharper at higher f-stop values. Thanks to the 9 rounded aperture blades, the areas outside the depth of field remain smooth with a beautiful bokeh.

This guarantee of operating in all conditions is provided by the system of internal seals, located in key areas of the lens. What is equally important, the lens does not change its dimensions during focus pulling, eliminating the risk of dirt particles getting swept into the internal structure. These properties not only allow you to work in demanding conditions, but also guarantee the cleanliness of the camera’s mirror chamber sensor.

The Focus Lock Ring allows you to lock the focus ring in a specific position. This is especially useful when you want to maintain a specific distance to the subject (zone-focusing), or when you want to maintain perfect focus on infinity during landscape photography.
We know how much you liked the focus ring on the Irix 150mm f/2.8 Macro 1:1, that’s why we decided to use a similar one for our Irix 45mm f/1.4 GFX lens. After many tests, we have developed a ring material characterized by its high mechanical strength and resistance. A special texture allows for reliable and precise focusing, and the dedicated embossed dimples allow you to feel the ring’s position even without looking for it- making focusing even easier.
