The Irix Expedition Jacket
The jacket is made of 96% durable polyester and the centered zipper is secured with a windproof and splashproof flap.
The jacket is waterproof up to 5000mm of water column and has a breathability of up to 4000g/m2. This means the jacket will protect you against moderate rainfall, and also guarantee an adequate moisture transfer from the body to the outside of the jacket.
Two large and wide pockets provide convenient access to larger items. Two smaller chest pockets are great for storing smaller items such as documents or your phone. The jacket also has an additional inside zippered pocket with an opening to pass earphone cords.
But that's not all, the large pockets have been especially designed to fit you Irix Edge Square filters so you can always have them at hand.
The jacket is covered with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) impregnation coating that protects against water and moisture. An additional hydrophobic membrane will increase the waterproofness of the jacket and facilitate the evaporation of the moisture droplets.
The inner layer of the jacket has an additional thermal insulation as a fleece lining. This provides a soft contact with the skin an proper moisture management.
